Photo Contest

Fish-Eye Photo will organize a digital photo and video contest during all four weeks in July.
Contest participation is free for all DSC participants.

First, second and third place winners will be announced each Friday of the week.
Grand prize winners to be announced on the Fish-Eye Photo web site in 1st week of August.

Contestants

The digital photo contest is open to everyone, novice to expert.
All digital camera systems will be allowed, both compact and SLR’s.

Rules

All activities must conform to the Stinapa (Marine Park) regulations with respect to any
form of plant and animal life!

Non DSC contestants must fill out a contest participation form available at Fish-Eye Photo.

All contestants can start photographing as soon as they have signed up for the contest.
Time span is only 1 week between Sunday 2 pm to Friday 12 pm

Images must be submitted digitally at Fish-Eye Photo on cd-rom, USB drive or memory card.

An $8 entry fee per image will be submitted for non DSC participants.

A maximum of 5 images can me submited per contestant.

Digital photo editing will be allowed with the limitation to:
Cropping
Color balance
Brightness & contrast
Sharpening
Dodge & burn
Saturation
Retouching
Desiderate / grayscale (for black and white entries)

The adding and/or deleting of objects in the image are not allowed!

Images not in conformance with the rules will be disqualified.

Judging Criteria

Technical quality, artistic expression, creativity.
“A photo I would like to hang on my wall”.

Usage Rights

All ownership and copyrights are retained by the photographer.
By submitting images, you understand and agree that winning images can be used by Fish-Eye Photo 
in announcements of winners and to promote future DSC competitions in various media formats,
including print and online. Recognition will be given to the photographer when possible.

Camera & equipment rental
Computers for image download, viewing, editing, and storage.
Camera demos will be available from different manufactures.
